MoU between the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and BGD e-GOV CIRT

At the end of a bilateral meeting between Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; 22 agreements and memorandum of understanding (Mou) have been signed at Hayadrarabad house in New Delhi between India and Bangladesh. After the meeting; defense, financial, information technology, power and energy related agreements and MoU was signed by the two countries officials.

To enhance cooperation in national security and strategic and operational studies, two MoUs were signed, one between the Defense Services Staff College (India) and the Defense Services Command and Staff College (Bangladesh) and another between the National Defense College, Bangladesh and the National Defense College, New Delhi.

Another two important MoUs are signed as :

On “Co-operation in the field of Information Technology and Electronics” between Information and Communication Technology Division of Bangladesh and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India.

On “Cooperation in the area of Cyber Security” between Bangladesh e-Government Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-Gov CIRT), Bangladesh Computer Council of Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and IT and Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, India.

So this MoU was signed to cooperate in the area of Cyber Security through Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and Bangladesh Government Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-Gov CIRT) which is a great step on the journey of BGD e-GOV CIRT going forward .
